Healing Laser

Physicists at Tel Aviv University, located in Israel, have made a remarkable breakthrough in medical technology. They have just invented a laser that can seal shut deep cuts and wounds that would other wise need stitches. Doctors and scientists say that this method of healing is much more reliable and faster than ordinary stitches. Experiments on real patients in Israeli operating rooms have proven successful. Their wounds healed faster and with less scarring. Avraham Katzir, head of Applied Physics at Tel Aviv University, said that this method of healing could also be used in keyhole surgery to seal internal wounds instead of needing to make large invasive incisions on the body.
